Psychology is the scientific study of behaviour and mental processes. IN general, the emphasis is on the individual person and how the person’s mental processes and behaviour are affected by internal, relational and social factors. Psychology as a discipline and professional practice contributes to national development through basic and applied research and interventions aimed at solving problems and promoting optimal development and functioning at the individual, family, group, organizations/institutions, community, and national levels
The undergraduate program in psychology provide initial training for those interested in teaching, research and the practice of psychology. Furthermore, they provide preparation for graduate studies in psychology as well as further studies in other professions such as medicine, law, and business management.

The AB Communication program offers insights to the study of the history, theories, practice, and ethics in media and communication. The curriculum is designed to equip students with the necessary skills for their future careers in print and publishing, marketing and advertising communications, public relations and strategic communications, and media and broadcasting.
A degree in Communication is highly desired in professional, personal, organizational and civic fields. In the course of the program, students will immerse in the master of communication, public advocacy and civic engagement across contexts of public, personal, and professional life. Communication students develop a wide range of analytical and communication skills, which provide the groundwork for numerous career paths in business, education, and public and media affairs.
