Guidance Services and Testing Center (GSTC)

Overview: The University maintains a Guidance Services and Testing Center ready to meet the needs of every student. One of the front liners in providing student support and services. It compliments the academic programs of the university to ensure holistic development of students. It is generally concerned about student welfare, helping and assisting students to actualize their potential in order to become mature and responsible members of society. In addition, Guidance Counselors are designated in all colleges to make themselves available for consultation, conference and counseling and other needs of the students where they can be of help.

Its primary functions involve counseling, psychological testing (i.e. personality, career, interest, aptitude, and mental ability), learning and study orientation, research, referral, and group process. Thus, diversified and integrated approaches are being put in place to meet the developmental needs of its client.
